Our staff
Don oversees The Villages, Park Ridge Commons, Resch Commons, Moore Park, and Hilton Park, as well as all housing development projects. From 1998 to 2001, Don was the executive director of The Villages. He has 20 years of experience in hospitality management at area facilities, including Marriott Hotels.
Susan supervises all housekeeping related responsibilities for The Villages. This includes oversight of the cleaning of all resident apartments and all common areas. Her previous experiences include working in the dietary department at Unity Hospital and at Eastman Kodak Company. Susan has over 16 years of experience in various positions. Susan is resident-oriented and takes pride in her work at The Villages.
Mary’s responsibilities include the direct supervision of our enriched housing staff, administrative duties, and the care and well being of all residents. She began her career with Unity Health System over 20 years ago as a nurse in Unity Hospital’s surgical unit. She thoroughly enjoys working with older individuals, and taking care of our residents and their families.
Mike oversees a culinary staff of 65 employees who are responsible for food production and service to over 325 residents. He frequently gathers feedback from residents through both the Residents’ Council meetings and the Villages Dining Room Committee. Prior to joining The Villages, Mike was the director of catering for Canopy’s Restaurant School. He also was the executive chef for the Rochester Marriott Hotel for eight years. He enjoys his relationship with residents and family members.
Mary Ann has been with Unity Health System and The Villages since 1990. Her responsibilities include the coordination of all activities at The Villages. She also oversees the staff of our transportation department. She is a very busy woman, but always finds time to spend with our residents.
Cheryl began her career with Unity in 1995 at the Edna Tina Wilson Living Center as a front desk receptionist. She was promoted to senior secretary when the Woodland Village opened in 2000. She currently oversees staff, resident, and family issues, and the daily operation of the Woodland Village. Cheryl’s dedication to her career at Unity is apparent to all.

Laura recently became a part of the management team at The Village.
Laura oversees the daily operation of The Village, including the front
desk receptionists. She works closely with our residents and families to
make sure their needs are met and their questions are answered. She
previously worked at the Lifespan Wolk Older Adult Center.
